Hey /Sci/ Whats the lowest amount of math that an 18 year old person should know so /sci/ wouldn't poke fun at him/her?

Single variable calculus. Anything less complex and I would lol

EK yesterday solved a basic probability problem, which considerably raised the level of what I expect from an average /sci/tard. I would say computational concepts of calculus and basic discrete probability is the lower limit.

Basic Calculus, Linear Algebra and the very very basic stuff

You should know the equations to mathematically describe and solve a woman.

this.
And if you are planning to tripfag you can fuck off right now.

>>4880818.
He's a retard and not the standard. Stop acting like he is.Stop talking about him altogether.

I see progress in EK. I looked once, twice.. but it said EK above the post. After going through it once, I was sure it was correct, but because the author was EK, I had to double-check it. It was correct. I spilled my drink, started shaking. If we ever decide upon the 7 miracles of the cyberworld, then I want EK solving a mathematically well-defined problem to be one of them.

EK should read up on limits.

Depends on what your major interest is. If you're interested in physics you should probably know a lot, but if you're interested in biology basic statistics, calculus and other basics would do. /sci/ is not one person.

>implying /sci/ is not one person

I AM /SCI/ !!!!
FEAR MY WRATH!!

I expect you to know at least the basics of homological algebra, you have to be well versed in symplectic geometry, and of course basic time cube theory. Also K-theory.

Because they are always complete retards.
I don't say that it's causative, but it's impossible not to notice.

As long as 2+2 does NOT equal ham sandwich in your mind, you should do fine.
