It is once again time to honour the age old /sci/ tradition of completing an online pattern recognition test and feeling good about yourself when you achieve a high score, like it entitles you to a Masters degree in physics or something.

It's actually much smarter than that.

The people who take it seriously try to get the highest scores, right? The test rewards them with the highest scores, and they're happy, flaunting their scores everywhere. But the test is one step ahead. It's actually been designed to be meaningless to see who has a go at it. Obviously, those who got the highest marks are the most retarded.

The others who didn't get very high marks (i.e. who didn't try too hard) are the ones that questioned its validity, the ones that are actually intelligent.

You see? Therefore, the higher your score on an IQ test, the more retarded you are.

never leave your intelligence hanging out for all to see and compare. There's always someone with a bigger intelligence, and if yours is exposed somebody will eventually kick you in it.

if your intelligence is just too huge to hide, try whiskey. drink enough and you won't be able to arouse your intelligence at all.

IQ is generally pointless and when compliant to the multiple intelligences theory, we see that its a test of three facets of intellect, leaving eight intelligences unaccounted for.

Further, intelligence like all expressions of biology is only relative to the context in which it is used. In so much, being highly intelligent in one's native language, word reasoning and mathematics, as we see in many geniuses, allows no room for things like common sense, empathy, athletic capacity, ect. Traits of intelligence (as they enable strategies, and strategies are mere directionalizations of behavior offering desired results), having a high math and word reasoning capacity does not corrilate to success or actual hollisticly accounted for intellect.

See, things dont become done, become finished, become results without action, in this, is a physical intellect, a emotional/feeling intelligence or simple good vision more important and desirable then high IQ?

I have been tested to be a 152 on an online IQ test, 130ish on this test and above average on the standard test - so what does this tell me/us? that this testing is arbitrary and erroneous as its a means to mental masturbation and offers little accuracy or validity, or, that the time and context in which tests like this are taken account more for the score then some 'collective unconscious' or perceived finite nominalization of intelligence expression (which is an action in response to a problem, ergo a process and not a categorical thing or object that is' yours').

I think most clubs that try to promote some pretentious standard, are for insecure people. I don't doubt some of them are great for networking and such, but that fails to be a majority.

ISPE is good for networking and for learning how to author a white paper. All members are expected to publish some work in our journal every year.

It's not much good for bragging since almost nobody recognizes the club or knows what it takes to get in.

I took another pattern IQ test in 2nd grade and my IQ score was 140.
It dropped to 120... That is sickening. I'm ashamed. I'm a fucking idiot!

it's normal for IQ to drop as you get older, it's loosely scaled to age in real tests.

>> No.4854207

Scored a 122 op.

I'm sad to say though that I'm starting to lose interest in these test.

your brain works best when you follow its natural speed (which differs day by day, hour by hour), if you push to think fast you lose concentration, if you focus too much in the details you lose depth in anything (study, application, cognitive capabilities) which is something i wish they taught in schools

I think 133 means you got 37/39. I am positve I got the last question wrong and another one wrong and i got 133. But this test is flawed since it maxes out at 140.

>> No.4854707

>>4854659
it doesn't, "over 145" is completely correct, in the 18-23 y/o range its:

143 - 1 mistake
140 - 2
138 - 3
135 - 4
133 - 5
