I'm watching this, and want to know if there is some scientific consensus on the dangers of microwave technology. This dangers are almost certainly exaggerated, and his evidence is anecdotal, but I fear he has some cause to his claim.

Reminds me of this lawyer who was trying to prohibit the use of electromagnetic waves.
Micro-waves are like the rest. Too much concentration and they can be dangerous, just like any other electromagnetic wave. Visible light is dangerous, if you look at the sun for too long you can get blind! Let's ban visible light!

any links to these 8000 papers he keeps referring to?

>> No.4824546

Well the microwaves in the oven are dangerous because they have the capacity to heat up water (2.25 GHz). So we should be careful when using frequencies that are close to this because of the doppler effect. Other than that I don't see how it could be dangerous.

but a microwave works by rapidly alternating the field...

>>4824548
Yes... and a rapidly alternating field is called an EM wave...

also the frequency is 2.45 not 2.25 GHz

Electromagnetic radiation results in the excitation of particles as heat. Prolonged exposure to a high amplitude wave may cause tissue damage.

A signal strong enough can interrupt the beat cycle of your heart. This is why an EMP shockwave would kill people as well.

Electromagnetic radiation like, for example sunlight?

sunlight is UV rays.

The sun pumps out different types of light, not just UV, don't be silly. You've been watching too many sunscreen commercials.

No, but I find it interesting that he uses a constant as his evidence. Perhaps there were 50,000 papers proving microwaves safe? In any case, I find it highly unfeasible that he would have had time to read them all. Although he is very old.

LOL HOW DO U SEE THE SUN THEN
