Why does water have no calories? It must have some form of energy that makes it a liquid?

it is not that water has no energy it is the point that water does not burn and remains relatively unchanged within the body so no breaking of the bonds between hydrogen and oxygen etc giving us energy (calories) and also that the net effect water has (after no change and giving us virtually no energy) is that the temperature decrease caused by drinking cold/cool water needs to be balanced out by our bodies using energy to stabalize our temperature.

Humans need energy hence are body are made for breaking down chemical bonds for energy, but breaking them cost energy as well and waters cost is higher than its result.

side note energy can not be destroyed but humans can only some of it the rest is "wasted".

yes. Imagine I take 1 kg of water at temperature T. Now tell me how many calories 1 kg of water with a temperature of T+2°C has.
That would be 1 calorie.
Now take 1 kg of water at the temperature T+2°C.
If you take one kg of water at temperature T+4°C and mix it with the other one, you can say that the kg of water at T+4°C had 1 calorie.
So 1kg of water has 1 calorie at any temperature?
