You shouldn't let something like an IQ test stop you from being what you want. Michael Faraday was a hugely influential scientist of the 19th century.

Oliver Heaviside was self taught and barely knew any math before he locked himself away for years laboring at math.

So what you don't learn math as fast as the smarter kids? That gives you more reason to try harder and push yourself. You need to accept you most likely aren't going to be the smartest and stop caring about it.

Is there an online IQ test that is NOT a load of BS? I would like to know around where I sit, but my desire isn't so strong that I would actually pay to take a test that is so fundamentally flawed. I got somewhere around 135 in elementary school, but I have no idea what version of the test, and am skeptical about the accuracy of a giving a 3rd grader an IQ test, on top of the other inherent failings. But still, it would be cool to know.

What would really be cool would be a topic specific kind of IQ test, like a math-only exam or one that differentiated between areas, kind of like the SAT but a lot more categories for the different types of learning/knowledge. THAT would actually be useful, as it could give people a good notion of what kinds of things they could most easily excel at.

What you describe are not intelligence tests.

Maths only or SAT type test would measure crystallized intelligence, which has little to do with IQ. IQ tests measure fluid intelligence, not what you've memorized from books. Long term memory does not correlate with intelligence (short term/work memory does, however).
