What scientific degree should I get if I want to work in the space industry? I don't want to design rockets or be an astronaut, I just want to colonize space. What should I study?

spaceX being one of the biggest private space companies at the moment, could see if they have any job openings and what degrees those require. If not, see if you can figure out what employees they have right now with what degrees.

Don't join the military, its not gonna happen.

Find companies like SpaceX, Orbital, Boeing, United Launch Alliance and look at what jobs they are hiring and what the degree requirements are.

The only other way is to become incredibly rich and buy your way to the stars.
