>mfw the energy of the photon is frame dependent because it travels at c in all frames
How the fuck does this even work? Doesn't it violate energy conservation?

So all observers experience slightly different colors? And I can speed up enough to make the cosmic microwave background appear as gamma rays? What the actual fuck?

But it really happens it's confirmed by experiment

There is no law stating that the energy is the same in different frames. This is not limited to photons.

Please don't mix measurements from different frames.

Yep:

I know it isn't limited to photons I just used that as an example because massive particles have an increase in velocity

How the fuck does this work though when the emitting frame is inertial and and observer is moving?

I don't understand your question.
The photon is emitted with energy E in frame S, and received with energy E' in frame S'. But in frame S', it always had energy E', so there is no problem.

If you move towards a light ray, it's blueshifted. More wave maxima are hitting your retina per second than if you were not moving towards the light ray, thus the frequency is increased. Doppler shift motherfucker.

Space expands faster than you can fart out a wet sneeze so don't you come up in this bitch and start busting Einstein's relative balls 'cause you're only going to wreck yourself.
