basing your field of study on job prospects is not the path to happiness

study what you're best at, otherwise you're cheating yourself and cheating the world :O)

BSc might be a bit early to quit but in general:

Physics jobs are extremely dependent on where you got the degree. Especially if you want to go to science. Typically a specialized field is not that big and everybody knows everybody.

Chances are much better if you have a degree from a place (with a recommendation from a Prof) they know. Excellence breeds excellence etc...

A Physics grade from a low tier university is not the best thing, there is not really a in-between job-market for physicists, either you are grade A or nothing. But one can always teach at some school of course...

A bit polarized perhaps but that is my impression, if you want job safety go for some engineering degree instead.

No, they become basement-dwelling neckbeards who shitpost on the 4chan science board all day.

Amazing.

You'll be Senior Shit-Shoveler at some endangered animal facility after a mere semester of school.

Good luck.
