I was doing work experience in a science class today and the kids were doing a mock exam, suddenly on the board :Time Dilation .
>Everyone confused, even teacher( he majored in chemistry)
>My time to shine

Explained to class, still don't get it .
Used a video ,still don't get it.

so i am teaching it tomorrow
So my question here is how can i teach time dilation simply?

The question was:
>Explain Time dilation and atomic clocks, then explain how this can relate to Einstein's theory of relativity

Get a new teacher who can do his job and was trained properly.

He may have majored in chemistry but he obviously also dropped out/failed chemistry (:

You'd have more luck searching youtube for educational videos on the subject and then taking notes from them

Depends on how dull your class is. I personally would try to start off with inertial systems and why we need them. Then cross over to how this shit doesn't work with light. Then explain why we need special transformations to keep the lightspeed constant - and voila, you arrived at proper time.
