A manned Soyuz is on the way to the ISS, and an Ariane 5 is now carrying two satellites into GEO.

In two days, there will be a Proton, a Soyuz, and a Japanese H-IIA launch.

And then Saturday will be the first launch of Dragon to the ISS, the first commercial space delivery.

Aren't you glad to be alive during the modern space age?

None of those things involve space tourism. commercial space is not the same as space tourism.

Is anyone there actually decreasing launch costs so that it will actually become commercially viable?

NOPE.

Move along. Nothing to see here.
