Friend of mine who's in the same program as me (Bioengineering) says we should switch to Materials Science and Engineering. Was wondering what was /sci/'s opinion on it. I've looked into it myself and I'm definitely interested, I just wanted to hear from anyone who's in the program at their institution right now, or has graduated.

It's up to you, depends if your school is known for the material sciences. Otherwise avoid it like the plague because it generally requires some pretty nifty machines for a good lab.
