Wait, so...

Permanent infertility is caused by shit like diseases, scarring, trauma, ect. to the testicles and or surrounding areas. What about increase in scrotal temperature? Is that permanent or temporary infertility?

>> No.4659342

Temporary.

Unless you have literally cooked your balls to the point of killing the tissue, which would probably produce some nasty necrosis. But you can't do that in a hot tub.

>> No.4659344

It depends on how high the temp went. If it was enough to kill cells and denature protein systems - permanent. If it was low to the point of just shutting down the cellular meiosis then temporary.

How long would it take for everything to get back to normal?

Not sure. I can't imagine the effects would last longer than a week though.

And it's really only about being less fertile due to the high temperatures interfering with sperm production, not being totally infertile.

Alright, thanks bros. As you can tell I'm paranoid about my balls, and I just woke up from a short nap...

>touch balls
>pretty warm
>oh fuck, infertile
>evolutionary failure

Boxers of course. Don't drink or smoke either. I'm active, I had an ultrasound done and everything was fine.
