how do you plot 1/x^e in matlab?

e=exp(1);

X = -5:.1:5;
Y = exp(-X);
plot(X,Y);

>> No.4622755

graphthishit(1/x^e)

Broseph that's three different things you've asked for. You know that 1/e^x = e^-x, right?

So 1/x^e is expressed as x^exp(-1)
1/e^x is expressed as exp(-x)
1/exp(-x) is just fucking exp(x)

I need shit similar to 1/exp(-x)

we're discussing plotting in matlab here, right?
