What is wrong with you when you have passed all mandatory calculus courses (with shitty grades), and still can't remember the multiplication tables, and can't count out change sometimes.

Also, 2 weeks after the exam, most of the things i had "learnt", or re-learnt from high school were already gone.

How do i prevent this from happening?
I rarely use math for anything, except the before mentioned things that also i fail at.

What do? Im frustrated with this.
I thought the point of going to college was being forced to learn boring things that you otherwise wouldn't.

I usually cheat by using python as a calculator when im in front of a computer.

It's still kind of nice to be able to.. you know, do calculations without using a pen and paper.

But when i do, many times i end up with the wrong answer, because confuse myself and think 8 = 5 + 4 instead of 5 + 3 or some shit like that.

And then everything fails. And i can't understand why i come up with different results from counting on my fingers and doing this stuff in my head because it's all so "obvious".. and then.. oh shit i was wrong.

But.. you know that ln(exp(x)/x) = x-ln(x).
And we know form computer science that
O(log(n)) grows slower than O(n).

In fact. This was one of the first assignments on the mid term in calc1 i think.

And i passed that shit 2 years ago.

That means, it was 2 years since i last used this for anything, because i've been trying to avoid math courses in order to keep my gpa at an acceptable level.

I had totally forgotten this. Maybe because I've actually only used it when i studied for that exam.
