All the other boards talk about you. They say you're among the hardest to be a part of, with the oldest/smartest members.

Did you find math fun in high school? Did you like fiddling with numbers?

I swear my algebra teacher was a genius on some level. He was in a shitty public high school in a bad town and had plenty of money, but he chose to continue teaching us. Such a fat man who ignored rules and called girls "sweetie"

Really this. They teach you how to be a number-cruncher monkey, not a mathematician.

Math is about axioms and what they imply - about logical connections and patterns. About shapes, properties, and relationships.

Not about calculating a long division by hand.
