calling all chemfags

writing a lab report for my gen-chem lab tomorrow on the synthesis of aspirin

pretty common lab and basically we synthesized the aspirin, determined the molar absorptivity of salicylic acid, and on the last part determined the absorbance of the aspirin sample.

in the last part, the mass of aspirin sample is .1105g and the absorbance of the aspirin is .734. I'm supposed to determine the moles of salicylic acid in the aspirin sample and i have no idea what to do.

Im pretty sure i'm supposed to use Beer's law but i only have the molar absorptivity for salicylic acid, not for aspirin.

tl;dr need help on bullshit chemistry
