I liked dinosaurs when I was a kid, just like any other kid. Had lots of toys and watched the Jurassic Park movies over and over. Then one day, minding my own business, just chilling, I open wikipedia and read that velociraptors had feathers. Now they _do_ look like oversized chickens. I've never recovered completely.

It depends on both size and mass. But if you just pile on more rock, the net effect will be an increase in surface gravity (sure the surface can get further from the center, but the mass term wins in this case).
