okay guys, step by step, while trying to solve for any integral, which tests do we try to apply? log rule first I think, then what?

we also check and see if the integral is composed of any trig functions. (arctan, arcsin, arccos, etc)

for solving an integral i might ask what kind of precision is required and then see if I cant evaluate the function at a couple of points.

Analytivcally? maybe try to rewrite it with elementary functions and look up in a table...
