So I got in a discussion with some people in a student pub. The discussion was what gender has the highest sex drive.

I argued that men have the higher sex drive and that society is pretty much shaped with male sex drive as one of the most pushing factors. They argued that "we used to think men were more horny, but later studies suggest women are just as horny" etc. Then some skinny pierced guy joined in and said "if you think guys are more horny you obviously havent been in a relationship with many women", I just stared at him until he left with fear of being stabbed in his sleep.

So what should I say the next time?

I'm a masters student in physics, doing nanoengineering. Three of the girls were geology students, one of them was studying law.

I gave them the entire speech on testosterone and the fact that men are always thinking "do I want to fuck this" when they're talking to a woman. They said I was bullshitting.

How do I deal with this nonsense?

I kinda know these people so chances are we're gonna have this discussion again.

New studies suggest that the female sex drive is mostly conscious (note that this is NOT real sexdrive), for example, she wants to please a guy, shes had sex before and want it becuase it felt good or she wants to sleep with a pretty guy as a 'trophy'. But females have to choose the best, because they will have to carry a child for 9 months and care for it much longer.
Males can at least theoretically produce a lot more offspring in the same time than females, when they mate with enough females. So the males with the highest sex drive will reproduce faster and outcompete the lower sex drive males.
Therefore males are more horny, evolution at work.
