what you said is similar to God / no god. You offered up some stuff, but you can't prove the stuff you offered up. It's not our job to disprove time is incompressible by compressing time, it's your job to demonstrate that it isn't possible with some sort of proof, mathematical or otherwise.

What do you mean by compressible? Time is affected by both velocity and gravity and can be altered that way.

Time does not literally flows or pass. The flow of time is an old metaphor from the olden times when they knew no better.

Time is now known to be an additional dimension: the imaginary counterpart of the fourth spacetime coordinate. It does not move, it is just there all along.

2) come up with testable theory to explain observation and predict future observations

friction impedes the movement of objects over a surface

in this case the surface or dimension is time, use ur brain and figure it out

there is a friction coefficient in regards to an objects duration through time otherwise you could get perpetual motion because if theres no friction then thermodynamics doesn't work

In special relativity there is a phenomenon known as 'Time Dilation' where if I'm going close to the speed of light, relative to Earth, then I will experience time far more slowly than Earthlings would. I would only age 1 year while people on Earth age 60, or 600, or even 6000 or more years, depending on how closely to the speed of light I'm travelling.

What I'm saying is that Einstein's physics allow for a time machine which lets you go forward in time as far as you want, as quickly as you want, as long as you have the energy to do it.

It is most certainly as quickly as you want.

Approaching c arbitrarily closely causes the rate of time on Earth to go arbitrarily fast, such that if you 'went at' the speed c, the rate of time on earth would be going infinitely fast. There are no known physical limits on how close to the speed of light you can get.

I'll actually bust out the equation for you, cause I think it's a pretty cool guy:

v is the velocity necessary to travel a distance of x, while aging a time of t.

You can make t arbitrarily small and x arbitrarily large and v remains below c.
