Studying for Chemistry finals.

150g C12H22O11 (sugar) to gCO2 using stoichiometry

I keep getting 1800g CO2 by way of:

150g * (12mol C/ 1mol sugar) * (1mol CO2/ 1mol C) = 1800g CO2

This seems way wrong.

Help?

step 1: write a balanced equation

Says to solve with Stoichiometry, so I assumed I wasn't supposed to.
Otherwise, yeah that's obvious.

step 2: write out the stoichiometry for your equation, making sure you can cross out all remainders (ie 150 g sugar * (mol sugar/g sugar) * (mol C/ mol sugar) .......

>SAYS TO SOLVE WITH STOICHIOMETRY SO I DIDNT THINK I NEEDED TO USE FUCKING STOICHIOMETRY TO SOLVE IT, BESIDES THAT ITS OBVIOUS
