Do you believe that matter teletransportation in the style of Star Trek will some day be possible?

If so, what would happen after transporting a human? In that tiny moment where the particles are dearranged and rearranged at destination.. what arrives is REALLY YOU?

It may look the same, think just what you were thinking before being transported, have the same memories, goals, and psyche, but would it be the you that you are right now?

for the person that is materialized, it is like it was the same person before and after being transported, but for the you right now, is it over?

I honestly think there is no answer. If we did make this technology there would be no way to tell, everyone would come out as themselves to everyone else, but they may not be the same consciousness

The only completely legit form of "teletransportation" imo is a sort of wormhole. Anything that disassembles you seems like a big no-no
