I have none of this stupidity among my status updates on FB, and I've always thought my friendlist (around 180 people, right now) is mostly composed of idiots.
Turns out the general population is far worse off than I thought.. And whenever I consider how much smarter than me some geniuses I know actually are (PhD in math at 23, et cetera), I compare myself with the average Joe and I gradually begin to realize the huge, insurmountable rift we nowadays have in the capabilities of our population.
