no-way. the publication was meant serious. one of the authors even got kicked from the paper for critizising its content. the senior author explicitly stated later on that the measurements were correct and that the setup had been examined for it's flawlessness. the media hype was wanted by the responsible scientists, because they were greedy for grant money and we all know how Italy is Italy.

Actually it was the answer to those guys stating that hurrdurr noone said Einstein was wrong, the hype on the false neutrino measurements was media bullshit, the scientists were allright and humble
