Ok im getting kind of freaked out now and I think you guys might help me out here seeing as you'd be the only ones inclined to believe me.

The past few months I've noticed i've been getting shocked a lot and i seem to be producing a lot static electricity going on arround me. about a month ago I removed my underpants while in bed because my bollocks were not comfy and I swear I saw electric sparks all about them as I crumpled them in front of me, it was terrifying. Right now for examplen I have a big fuzzy blanket on me and If I rub it in my head I can clearly hear that electrical crackling and I can also feel small shocks on my ears.

Ive never experienced anything like this before and it's starting to get on my nerves because I don't think it's normal. Care to offer some knowledge?

c'mon bump. I could use some opinions here.

Use drier sheets and get a humidifier. This kind of thing only happens when the air is ridiculously dry.

Your superpowers are developing.

You can probably speed up the processes by grabbing a live power line.

You live in some very shitty ungrounded place. You need to ground your shit.

You're going to have to explain some more then that, what do you mean with "ground your shit"? like ground all of my electronics?

I don't "have" to do shit. It isn't my fucking fault you don't understand the principles of modern electrical usage.

Maybe you have a water leak or your diet is making you extra sweaty.

In case you don't have critical thinking skills.

Maybe you have shitty wiring/stray electricity (need to ground shit) or your diet is making you extra prone to electrical conduction.

>> No.4376807

The diet explanation is fucking ridiculous. It has become fashionable to say everything is reducible to dietary considerations.

If it happens to you outside your house, then it must be your clothes. Some fabrics are more prone to static than others.

>> No.4376850

I've got it too. It's probably because--

1) You live somewhere very dry, like Arizona or el desierto Atacama.

2) You wear certain blends of fabric like polyester, rayon, or certain wools.
