You're implying that it's a voluntary society, if it were then one could opt out of it without being thrown in jail. Instead we have the 'freedom' to run away into hiding, which obviously isn't any real option.
Of course there could be free voluntary societies that people can choose to be part of, but only without the government. Anyway enjoy your welfare state, you best hope it lasts forever.
