Hey /sci/

My first-order Logic class is kicking my ass.. It was moved online (which makes it 100x more hard for me) and I have like 6 assignments due tomorrow.. and I haven't even started.

I need some guides.. some help.. something. Also.. out of curiosity. How will learning logic really help me? Is it truly applicable to anything practical in the field i'm going into (nursing)?

I'm actually forcing myself reading a book on (first order) logic just to write an intelligent program (literally).

I'm reading "Formal Logic: It's scope and limits" by Richard Jeffrey.

It's hard. Is there any site available to help with this sort of stuff? I'm already into logic trees 20 pages in.

One last bump.. surely someone on /sci/ knows first-order logic.
