Does it get people mad when you see a guy like me succeeding? Or are the children at my University passive aggressive bitches? The professors seem overly happy and surprised when I do well compared to the other students.

No, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's some sort of prejudice against you given that the media portrays (And perhaps rightly so) a majority of people fitting your description acting in an aggressive/ignorant manner.

It's nice that you don't fit that though. Have a good day.

Orgo is a very difficult course to most people. If you are doing well and people know this (especially if you are answering most of the questions the professor asks) then of course they are going to pissed because they are too retarded to get an A and they think you are just showing off

>Orgo is a very difficult course

Bullshit. I took a semester of Honors Organic Chemistry and it was piss easy compared to difficult courses like Thermodynamics/Statistical Mechanics, Honors Abstract Algebra, and Honors Reals Analysis. Orgo is basically an intro into med school course where all you do is memorize tables, reactions, and nomenclature with pseudoscience explanations. Barely any analytical skills are required.

I am black, with the build of Heracles and the face of a demon. I prefer to bare my torso to the world's scrutiny, and have a large tattoo of a skull on my back. Once, a young engineering student sneered at me after I answered a question he failed to, muttering under his breath that I was "just a nigger anyway."
Incensed, I confronted him. "Tell me, friend, what did you mean by that? Are you trying to imply that since I am "just a nigger" my achievements are for naught? Surely you cannot be judging me by the tired stereotypes applied to my ethnic group. That indeed would signify a destitute mind!"
The entire class had their eyes on us, and deeply ashamed of his hurtful remark, the racist gentleman fled the room. He did not return to future classes.

Yes, I am dead serious. Why would you be outright aggressive when you can just opt for passive aggression instead?

>> No.4306380

>>4306355
Because passive aggression isn't a substitute for aggression. It's a method of dealing with conflict. And a very poor one.

Conflicts last until they're resolved. Passive aggressive behavior is not confronting the conflict while perpetuating and intensifying it. As a result, situations managed with passive aggressive behavior continue to be disruptive until they eventually blow up.

If you would like to lead a peaceful life, you'll learn to confront situations in their infancy (and in some cases when they have matured), rather than being self-destructive and trying to avoid a conflict with passive aggressive behavior.

:)

You've never actually worked in a place or position where you have to deal with people and conflict on a regular basis, have you?

When one day you move into real life, you're going to have to learn real fast, or love where you are. Because you're never going anywhere else.

>> No.4306418

not at all. But i find it strange, when some bitches who are dressed like whores and say shit/ irrational nonsense during class get good marks at tests later on. I don't get it (they may learn really hard, but i don't think they get what the hell they're learning)

>> No.4306425

>>4306394
Passive aggressive people are the worst troublemakers, because their trouble never ends.

Confronting conflicts isn't being aggressive or a troublemaker, it's taking responsibility for the outcome of actions affecting you. Something people in the "Real life" appreciate.

But go ahead and try it your way.

The guy is right. Have you ever had a job? No offense, but it seems like you lack some real world experience.

Even as a teacher, I have to work alongside some other teachers who, quite frankly, I cannot stand. They can't stand me, I'm assuming. We both make the conscious effort to discuss certain matters as quick and as concise as possible before our squabbles get us BOTH in trouble.

Seriously, try it sometime. This isn't /sci/ related, but the 'nice guy' syndrome has passive-aggressive written all over it. There's a reason why they don't get laid, finish last or they end up in the friendzone.
