Does anyone know what's up with gravity?

ummm...

>> No.4272912

It pulls things down

>> No.4272914

nobody knows bro, why is there mass, why does it pull things? we just know the 'how'

is the 'why' really in the field of science? you tell

Scientists like gravity because it keeps all the science from flowing away from the planet

>> No.4272921

that's an interesting question. what IS up with gravity?

Not really because before an atmosphere existed on Earth there was the Egyptians and lots of their science flowed away but then we got an atmosphere and gravity stayed trapped inside Earth so it's good

this thread, i like it.

If the Higgs Boson proves to be existing then it would also give room for the particle Graviton to exist.

The graviton would be the messenger for gravity.

But right now we have a hard time finding it since, according to theories, it would have an energy of more than 100 times than what we can reach in particle accelerators today.

Gravity force is not exact constant value everywhere on Earth surface. The "g" varies depending on soil density.

>> No.4273960

With gravity, "up" is the negative direction of the field lines.

gravity = propulsion via thrust via the grip of space and time for desired effects.
