If you are ugly, boring, or have a stupid accent than engineering is always a safe bet. If you have people skills and a great personality than any degree will do. Although one from Stanford will open more doors.

Two of the networks (ABC,CBS) are both run by foreign language majors, Paul Lee and Les Moonves.
