Im more interested in SAM construction and methods of attaching biosensing molecules to alkanethiol monolayers

I've got access to a few databases, and good search skills, but in terms of things saved I only have a few dozen I found interesting.

Not a problem, keep up the good work.

As an aside, It took me a minute to realize it was a book series and not a journal, and once I did it was easy to find through my school's library system. At that point it was just finding the specific article once proxied in.

Im at uni in the uk, its really hard to find some of these papers/journals/books. do you have any tips or advice on how to find them easily?

trough, Scopus, Livescience and other respectable publication platforms? where else?

Not sure how it is in your system, but the quickest way for me is to find the journal/book in my library's search engine. At that point there is usually an option to connect to the official website of the journal to browse their articles through your library's proxy.

Then it's just a matter of finding the specific article on that site and downloading or reading it. While you are connected via a proxy, it recognizes you as a valid user. I do have to log into my university account at the library to accomplish that, however.
