Does anyone have any old news articles, text book scans, or even better video documentaries where we now the know the information in them is flat out wrong. Looking more for things like "the sun revolves around the earth" and less for things like "pluto is a planet"

There are a bunch of articles that claim that lambda-peaks in specific heat are a characteristic of second order phase transitions, while it is now clear that they are due to latent heat in first order phase transition.

One of my favourite parts of that is that he refuses to list references but expects people to take him seriously. Though Im sure some do.

>And that the only thing that can save people from viral infections are vaccines
Not only is that exaggerated and unfounded, but it also shows how little the author knows about this. I wonder what would happen if he got Golden Staph, Meningococcal, small pox or malaria; then tried to fight the diseases off naturally without the use of pharmaceuticals or even just immune-boosters. You should also be award those diseases are uncommon in most first-world countries, that is because the standard of medicine and vaccination prevents any microbes and viruses that make their way into the population, from spreading far enough to be of concern. I cringed at that article, I'm glad that all the naturopaths (is that how it is spelled?) these days are a bit more educated.

These are nice, but none of them seem like they were ever considered legit science by a large portion of the scientific population. better would be something like a paper stating there's no way to produce organic molecules synthetically.
