This thread is not about portals.

This thread IS about the light bridge puzzle.

you've heard of catching sunshine in a bottle, right?

Is the sun A particle, or B rays?

if photons could be captured and harnessed, could we create bridges of light, and be able to walk on them?

We know we can redirect light with reflective surfaces, but if we condensed the "particles", could there be a chance of making an actual field of solid light?

Light can impart momentum, its the principle behind solar sail spaceships. It would have to push you up with force exactly equal to gravity. There are a number of problems with this; the main one being you would burn to death in nanoseconds. Also you couldn't walk on it, just be held there and maybe flap your arms to move. There's no coefficient of friction between your feet and the photons.

God this is retarded

so no walking on light. gotcha. Now how about light rails? For high speed transit? Kinda like a maglev, but with light.

>>4200571
so wer maglevs in teh days of steam engines.
Open your eyes to the future man!

I don't think you know what photons are. If you do, please elaborate because you are asking what a sun is, come on buddy.
