Objectively speaking, why do you post here? The only things that this would be best for compared to a board are trolls, homework threads, and repetitive threads, the very things this board is supposedly against.

The reason I do is because I want a fast response, but if we all agree to move to the same forum then we can get our fast responses in a archived and accountable environment.

So what forum(s) would you suggest?

I come here because on occasion there are interesting threads. I would like to find a forum which offered those threads without the trolls but that requires going through sites and trying to figure out where those boards might be.

I suppose this is a good thing, but the fact of the matter is I've met at least one person who was intelligent here, so until I extract at least that person from this site I won't rest.

Once I extract him this place will turn into a shithole.

Honestly though, scientific inquiry isn't the kind of thing that would benefit from a chan compared to boards. All the other boards have a reason because by their very nature their interests are repetitive but transient yet troll-worthy for "lulz".

More that I get bored and occasionally there are interesting people to talk to. I would love to find a forum full of people who share the same love as I do, however I havent yet, and so until I get bored of this board, which might happen in a few months or who knows when, /sci/ does have, on occasion, interesting threads/people to talk to/discuss thing with.
