I don't mean to be cruel or anything, but... seriously guys, does this guy do anything useful at this point? Or is some other smart dude just feeding him info because its cool to say a crip is mega smart. I'm wondering this this mornin' over my leftover mornin' beer.

Yes OP, you are not only in better physical shape, but smarter than him.
And you are not a faggot, too.

oh shit! I'm sorry.
I take it back /bro/
I was just wondering to myself.
I should not have posted. I'm stupid. Sorry again 'bout the cancer.

TBH, it's mostly hype about him. Sure, he's smart, smarter than a large slew of scientists - but his accomplishments are nowhere near what people attribute to him.

/sci/ will stone me for this, but you have a point.

He has done a lot of important stuff on black holes and string theory, but for last 5 or 10 years, he's been losing it. His speeches on "theoretical physics is finished" and that scientists will be replaced by AI were complete nonsense.

I was once going to a Steve Aoki djset, and i was asked if he was the famous astrophysicist

because you sound like you're not trolling I'll answer cautiously

>to say a crip is mega smart
being crippled has no impairment on knowledge.

>> No.4157131

He simply hasn't contributed anything significant to the field in awhile.

Then again, he certainly isn't the first scientist to bang out some good work and do little for the rest of his life.

I do, actually. Unlike you. Faggot. You just want to worship some god figure.

>> No.4157154

OP could have a point guys. This man can sell physic's like no one else. People associate him with knowledge, and thus, will more readily accept the information he is giving them. The fact that he can only type about 1 sentence a minute would really slow down his work pace as well.

We are wasting all our greatest minds on this fucking theory, and it can never be proven.

Didn't he, like, prove that the general theory of relativity requires a big bang? In 1970, with Robert Penrose? I mean, that's kind of a big deal, isn't it?
