Hey /sci/, here's some undergrad schools I'm looking at. I've read that undergrad name isn't as important as the work I do there, but I'm still paranoid as fuck. In the engineering field, how well-known/respected are these schools? (I omitted the obvious ones, of course.)

Just want to get a general "feel" for how recognized these schools' undergrad engineering programs are.

Any school that doesn't have the word "community" or the word "college" in its name is fine.

Dont buy the hype this "top universities" love to get into. These rankings justify them to charge you 40k a year when you can get the same education for 10k or 5k.

So, in short, dont be a retard op.

Seriously look into it. I know several undergrad and grad. engineers there. The research they get to do is the tits. The facilities are also great.
