What determines what is north, south, east, and west if the earth is a sphere?

Convention.

Magnetic north and south pole? It changes though, we have a conventional north and south pole.

Earth isnt a Sphere.
Your inquiry, as it is now, is invalid.

Not him but fine. It's an oblate spheroid so what determines the directions. No answer. Asshole.

Alright, so we have a magnetic south and north pole. Does this mean east and west are man-made concepts?

How is it not a sphere?

oh btw, any ideas what we gonna do when magnetic poles switch? just carry on as though nothing happened, or ave a sturdy decades long debate for the fun of it?

Is it possible that the people who first decided which was north/south or, up/down could've got it the opposite way to how we have it?
All maps would be the wrong way up, as would be our entire perspective of the universe; flipped upside-down
