the only logical step is avoid the substance on this information and discredit the source.

Everything claimed here is entirely self-evident if you take a holistic view. Simply because the more grounded disciplines are derivatives of the more abstract does not imply that any one of those disciplines has any more 'value' than any other. If this ordering is some kind of revelation to you then I dread to think what your perspective was before.

You have completely overlooked the fact that you view math as "pure" because of your psychology. Your individual psychology is a result of your enculturation which is then a result of a groups environment. Environment is a result of biology, geology and some extraneous circumstance. And as you can see, logically the flow should be more circular than linear.

This would also imply that social sciences are orders of magnitude more complex than maths or physics, which are child's play compared to sociology.

Mathematics shouldnt even be in that hierarchy

Are you saying mathematics isn't a form of knowledge?

>> No.4127467

Nah. It's because Math is so pure, it shouldn't fit here.

Would we be able to come up with the idea of mathematics without senses?

>> No.4127504

>>4127490

No, because mathematics is founded on axioms that are human-made.

inb4 the nerd platonists get buttmad.

>> No.4127507

Lol mathematics isn't knowledge. It's rules.

>> No.4127511

>>4127490
we would haven no ideas without senses, that doesnt make mathematics empirical.
You dont need to make field studies to validate the hypothesis that 2+3=5 and you dont need to and example of it to validate it.
We cant proof empirical models, we can only validate them, but we have proof in mathematics. etc.

Mathematics is not empirical.

You fail to realize nothingness is a concept too. It's one of the basic fallacies of western fallacy
