Where do you think I should head in University if I really like playing with money and Mathematics? I basically love trying to be the most efficient possible, in every aspect of my life.

I try, at least.

Mathematics or physics.

Work on Wall Street or some financial firm if you insist on wasting your knowledge on trash.

engineering. i like working in machine shops and automating production lines - I get bonused on my efficiency compulsion and I see the work I do affect floor workers' day-to-day lives in a positive way.

ain't no trained machinists what like to load lathes all day...

You can even choose what field in which to work. Design of stuff, manufacturing of stuff, management of new product engineering, introduction of new products to production lines...develop the reputation and someone will even pay you to figure out how to use cutting-edge technology to make stuff for less money, which, IMHO, a pretty cool challenge.

mathematics with a master in quantitative finance.

If you like maths, you can study maths. Studying money-related stuff will get you money too, so it's good.
