/sci/ how do you study?

All my life I haven't studied and I have been content with the 70%+ average it got me, but this is a poor habit and shall fail as I move on into the later years of my university career. I have chosen to transfer into a new course next year and I want a fresh start. I want to study, and study hard. I would like to be one of those people who know that they did well before test results come back and be ecstatic when they get 90%+.

So /sci/ what are your study habits, if you have them? Thank you in advance.
