i say gentlemen,

i inquire;

is it possible to jam a gsm band cellphone tower with four or five conveniently placed 1.2kW directed microwave oven magnetrons?

>> No.4051498

I'm too lazy to google the frequency bands of those two devices but I'm fairly sure they don't overlap.

>> No.4051533

no
but you can jam the power going into the tower with a hairdryer
just get it next to the power powerlines while the hairdryer is on
this will set up oscillations in the power supply and should knock out the receivers

also works for cable lines and telephone lines
so dont do it, it is illegal

it's 2100MHz here, the magnetrons are 2400MHz.

shouldn't it be close enough to at least create some static?
