ISHYGDDT

Half of it is trash that you can just skim. Just remember to understand the key vocabulary and key equations.

Protip: The text is just reference for you while you are doing the problems. If you can do the problems, nothing else matters.

How much can you read on average in a day?

Seriously, as a Math major. I am use to books being pretty concise.

Math has it much better, it's just theorem then proof, theorem then proof. With a definition, example or remark when appropriate. Seems like those books with lots of colored pages has a lot of fluff that makes it a chore to read.

this is only true until you're learning the very basics (i.e. ages old established theories)

fuck this

15 pages an hour is a reasonable rate. That's 53 hours. Just think about how many people log that much on some random vidya game on steam per week.

Per week. That's only a little more than two a day.

>that feel when you can't focus for shit and it takes you an absurd amount of time to get through 20 pages because you have to keep going back and rereading the parts where your mind started to wander off.
