Some professors do have a legitimate problem teaching effectively. For example, my English 102 instructor was a helpless fucking moron. A babby's grasp on grammar, a passion for weak verbs and a love for the darkest shade of purple prose. The instructor was a woman, mind you.

On the other hand, you have students taking a class covering critical reasoning. Say they're reviewing the critiques of reason as put forth by Kant, Russell and Hume. In this case, if a student begins attacking the professor for "retarded things like philosophy, who uses this shit i dont even believe in it!1!" ... then I agree with you.

This dumbass was very clearly not paying attention during the class and as such had no clue what "iff" meant. Then, in perfect do-no-wrong fashion, blamed the class and her distaste for the material. Fuck I hate. I hate.
