I've heard many people talking about a "male period", saying that men too have hormonal cycles, that influence our mood/arousal.

Is this true?

It's misandronistic bullshit.

any source for that claim?

I can only seem to find forum posts, I'd like to see some better sources either pro, or contra

Nevermind asking him, its you who has to provide proof for your baseless claims.

Hormone cycles? Maybe, but not to any noticeable extent. It makes no sense for males to.

Females do it so they can maximize reproductive abilities/needs when they are ovulating but males need to be ready 24/7

I actually came here exactly to look for that 'proof'. Cause I've heard this thing quite a few times, but never seen the sources where this idea comes from.
I'm sure there has been some research on the topic, maybe I just overestimated /sci/'s knowledge

thanks bro. I'm quite proud of my trolling skills.
You're a good reaction-image-poster. That pic seems to depict you quite well, with the stupidity, ugliness, lack of knowledge and all.. good job!

So I take it this is just a urban legend according to /sci/?
