I always wonder about how many Germans were killed in Allied concentration camps.

Anyway, my guess is that what OP is talking about has been blown out of proportions. Sure, Jews were killed, tortured, humiliated, branded, raped, put into concentration camps and everything, but probably not because the people in power genuinely wanted to kill ever Jew on earth. It was a means to an end. Unite the people (in this case 'Aryans' or people approximating that race) against a common enemy: the Jews. That does not change a lot, but just beware that "the victor will never be asked if he told the truth”.

A fuckton of Jews did die from disease and starvation, the controversy is over whether most of these deaths occurred following the Allied bombing campaign and whether there was an intentional, widespread policy of executing Jews.

Personally I think the number of TOTAL dead is around 3.5 million and that the minority of these deaths were executions.
