Sup /sci,

I really need someone to help me out with this:

"An artificial membrane was made. It consisted only of a bilayer of phospholipid molecules. In an investigation, the permeability of this artifical membrane was compard with the permeablity of a plasma membrane fro a cell. Explain why both membranes allowed lipid soluble molecules to pass through?"

will pay back with pr0n

plasma membrane of animal cells is phospholipidbilayer is same thing

also, work safe etc. etc.

The plasma membrane from a cell is also a phospholipid bilayer. I guess that's why.

Although, in cells, the bilayer contains some cholesterol as well, to keep its structure.

lol wtf is OP retarded.

The phospholipid bilayer is made of...lipids. Therefore lipids can pass through it (a.k.a. lipid soluble)
