I really really know that feel

I just started this shit in my chem class and I'm so confused.

Getting used to it is like getting used to anal. MO will only make sense (within the narrow range required for your specialty) with repeated beatings throughout your undergrad/grad education.

Being an inorganic chemist is literally giving up any chance for pussy ever again (provided you were lucky enough as a chem major to get any in the first place).

Isn't this just basic quantum mechanics?

Chemistry is just applied quantum mechanics

Yes and no. I'm a chemist, and appreciate physical chemistry/quantum mechanics (learned all about it as an undergrad), but I never use it on a day-to-day basis. Only its basic principles like spectroscopy, but mostly empirically.
