How hard is Agricultural Science? We know it's super interesting but is it empirical and well established?

Thinking of going into Agricultural economics. High tier shit?

I would totally love to get involved in "agribusiness" but for some reason that major/minor is in a completely disconnected department from the business department at my university.

Ive looked at job applications for business agriculture positions. They want you to be knowledgeable about agriculture, and the science involved with soil and plants and everything.

I think its awesome stuff to. But it seems like its a lot easier for an agricultural science person to get into business than a business person to get into agriculture.
