Both of those videos are amazing. I stumbled upon this little short about how they trap ions to act as qubits on the recommended videos. Not sure if you'll find it quite as neat, but it blows my mind that they've already been able to do this with 6 ions (or was it 8?)... last I heard.

Anyways the video is a bit... hokey, but still promotes optimism.
