hey /sci/ I have a small math hand in for later today, but this exercise is annoying the shit out of me, can any of you help?
Solve the equation:
(1+x)/4-(9 x+8)/9=1/6

can someone show me how it's done?

9(1+x)/36 - 4(9x+8)/36 = 1/6
9 + 9x -36x -32 = 36/6 = 6
